Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital – Birthing Unit

Working closely with main contractor Morgan Sindall to manage rapid turn-around, we helped to achieve completion of these major improvement works within the hospital’s strict programme demands.

The package included four sets of Youngs Doors “X-shield” lead-lined door-sets, complete with specialist ironmongery.

Other door sets supplied featured one-off vision panel layouts for specific location requirements and acoustically rated door sets – all doors employed the same facing materials (both laminates and veneers) to co-ordinate with surrounding interior schemes.

Further works were added as the project moved forward – Youngs Doors were able to supply high performance bespoke door sets, made to order with very short lead times.

Door sets were delivered as scheduled – one day prior to their programmed installation date; resulting in minimal handling, storage and associated cost.
