Norwich Medical Research Building

The Norwich Medical Research Building (NMRB), which now goes by a new title of ‘Bob Champion Research and Education Building’, opened its doors in November 2014. The building contains complex and sophisticated laboratories which undertake life changing research, such as: prostate cancer, antibiotic resistance disease, musculo-skeletal disease and gastrointestinal diseases. The building also holds simulated hospital environments and seminar rooms for use of the medical students.

We provided almost 160 door sets in Laminated and Veneered Maple, with exposed Maple lipping’s, ranging from Non-Fire to FD30 fire rating. Over 40 of the doors were partnered with vision panelled side screens in Maple. Vision panels were fitted in over half of the doors in Maple glazing beads featuring rounded corners.
