YMCA Hostel, Grimsby

We manufactured and supplied a number of doorsets for a new 74 bedroom hostel facility on Freeman Street, Grimsby, which is set in the heart of the community, providing high-quality, aspirational accommodation for young people.

The doors were faced in factory finished ash veneer with clear lacquer, along with factory recessed for hinges and locks. This order was set out in 10 phased deliveries and coordinated with the site team at R G Carter Lincoln.

The Fire doors of 30 minute and 60 minute performance were included, along with sound reducing doorsets with 35dB attenuation.

The building comprises entrance, communal spaces, cafe, commercial kitchen, event hall, conferencing facilities, training rooms, gym, workshop, wellbeing centre and offices together with enclosed gardens and car parking.
